Original Art for Display Suites and Display Homes

I am Leah Justyce. I create original artwork matched to a display suite or display home's palette and decor style -- designed as part of the space buyers walk through, not added to fill it.

Why a display suite is a different brief to a single statement wall

A display suite or display home is selling a feeling as much as a floor plan, and the art on its walls is part of that pitch. Stock prints read as decoration. Original work, designed for the room's actual palette and decor style, reads as part of a considered interior -- which is exactly the impression a display is trying to create.

How the process works

It starts with the commission enquiry form below. I contact you directly to discuss the project -- the palette, the decor style, and the kind of art you are picturing, whether that is abstract, seascapes, abstract portraits or florals. Once we have a direction, I create digital mock-up artworks, and the final pieces are painted to match these mock-ups once you approve them. A deposit is paid before any painting begins.

One consistent look, across one site or several

If the project covers more than one display suite or display home, the brief carries the same palette and style across every site, so the art reads as one program rather than a different artist's eye in each location. Depending on the project, finished pieces are sent as one delivery or staged across a few, timed against your opening date.

Sizing and price

Artworks are created for the space, to the size it needs -- I don't work to a fixed stock size. That might be a single statement piece at 200 x 150 cm, or a triptych of three works each at 150 x 100 cm. As an example of price only, a 100 x 100 cm original acrylic, framed in a float frame (natural or black) and delivered ready to hang, is $3,500 AUD -- your actual price is set by the size and number of pieces the display needs.

Frequently asked questions

Why original art rather than prints for a display suite?

Original art designed for the display's palette and decor style reads as considered, part of the finished interior -- which is the impression a display suite is trying to create.

Can the same look be delivered across multiple sites?

Yes. One brief, one palette and style, carried across every display suite or display home in the project, with digital mock-ups approved before any painting begins.

What does it cost?

Every piece is sized to the display, not a fixed size. A 100 x 100 cm original at $3,500 AUD, framed and delivered ready to hang, is a price example only -- larger and multi-piece commissions are priced to the actual brief.

How is delivery timed against an opening date?

Production is planned against your opening date once the deposit is paid, with delivery as one shipment or staged across a few, depending on the project.
