Calla Lilies in Bloom doesn’t whisper — it sings. This is a garden caught mid-breath, painted in fearless colour and brushwork that moves like it means it. Deep emerald greens surge across the canvas as a living backdrop, and out of that green the calla lilies erupt — white, orange and yellow — each bloom thrown down with real conviction. Bold, gestural lines give the whole piece its pulse, while softer colour bleeds in between hold the light and keep it from ever feeling harsh. This isn’t botanical illustration. It’s not trying to get every petal “right.” It’s chasing something truer — the rush of standing under towering blooms while sunlight breaks through thick leaves above you. The vivid flowers and the rhythmic, vertical sweep of the foliage behind them push and pull against each other, building real depth — a sense of abundance that feels almost too alive to be still. At a commanding 120 x 120 cm, this is a piece built to hold a room. Its palette is confident enough to anchor a bold, contemporary space, yet grounded enough to feel at home in something more traditional — bringing colour, energy and a kind of joyful swagger wherever it lands. Calla Lilies in Bloom is nature at full volume — growth, resilience and beauty refusing to be quiet. Hang it, and the room doesn’t just gain a painting. It gains a pulse.
